Telenovelas - In a continuous effort to strengthen relations among muslims especially during the holy month of Ramadhan, the Information Department for the first time last night held a 'Program Ramadan Penerangan' or 'Information Ramadhan Programme' for the Temburong district.
The delegation of 30 Senior Officers and staff from the department led by the Acting Deputy Director of Information, Awang Azman bin Haji Abdul Rahim organised a community activity at Mukim Labu, in Temburong. The delegation held a tahlil ceremony at the Bukit Raja Kampung Piasau Piasau cemetery in Mukim Labu. They also carried out a cleaning campaign at the site. The delegation also joined the villagers to break the fast at the Kampung Piasau Piasau Surau, followed by a mass maghrib, isyak and terawih prayers.
Less-fortunate families in the village also received contributions in the form of daily necessities. At the Kampong Labu Estate, a 30-year old widow, Dayang Saadiah binti Haji Kula received a contribution of daily necessities.
